Steel Flanged Channel Posts Chicago Heights® Flanged Channel Sign Posts are manufactured from high tensile rail steel and finished with a protective coating of weather resistant acrylic. They are designed to provide an attractive appearance and years of maintenance free service. Special colors and finishes, including hot dip galvanized, can be supplied for high corrosion applications. These posts are manufactured in accordance with ASTM A499, Grade 60 with a minimum yield strength of 60,000 psi, and able to meet AASHTO criteria on wind loads. BLACK Channel Posts are normally punched full length with 7/16” holes on 3” centers. Standard stock lengths are 6-12 ft. Weight: 2 lbs/foot, 2-3/4 lbs/foot, 3 lbs/foot and 4 lbs/foot. GREEN Channel Posts are normally punched full length with 3/8” holes on 1” centers. Standard stock lengths are 6-12 ft. Weight: 1.12 lb/foot, 2 lbs/foot and 3 lbs/foot.
